I should have heeded more closely the advice my father in law Dunstan gave me, when I asked his permission to marry Posy.  His advice was that I would have to share her with Africa.  It soon became apparent that we would spend a good deal of our married life in the wilderness of the African bush.  There were to be many adventures, near disasters and opportunity to forge lifelong friendships. In giving his consent to marry Posy, my father in law warmly welcomed me into the family fold disconcertingly addressing me as "Peter"  which is my only excuse for not taking more seriously the Africa warning!
